Our Team

Dr. Lewis is board certified in both diagnostic and interventional radiology and enjoys performing the full spectrum of interventional radiology procedures.  

He received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah in 2007. Though he excelled in his engineering courses, it was really his love of biochemistry, bioengineering, and cell biology that turned him toward medicine. He then attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas where he graduated with High Honors in 2012. At the end of his third year rotations, he discovered the amazing field of interventional radiology and has been hooked ever since! He completed a diagnostic radiology residency in 2017 followed by an interventional radiology fellowship in 2018, both at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC, one of the premier radiology training programs in the country.   

Despite falling in love with the beautiful mountains, beaches, and trees in North Carolina, the sunny skies and desert vistas beckoned him to return to his hometown of Gilbert, Arizona. Dr. Lewis has practiced at several East Valley Banner Hospitals from 2018-2022 but recently joined the ViP team at Banner University Medical Center in Phoenix in February 2023. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor with the University of Arizona College of Medicine and is excited to share his expertise and knowledge with the inaugural class of interventional radiology residents 

Dr. Lewis is passionate about advancing the field of interventional radiology and maintains an active membership in the Society of Interventional Radiology. He has a keen interest in educating patients and other physicians about the full breadth of minimally invasive procedures and techniques. In fact, he had the privilege of performing some of the first percutaneous endovascular fistula creations with the WavelinQ™ device in the state of Arizona. 

Dr. Lewis is a true patient advocate always striving to treat each patient like a member of his own family. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Annie and is a father of 6 kids: 5 boys and 1 girl. He loves spending time with his family in the great outdoors. His interests include camping, hiking, kayaking, mountain biking, basketball, snowboarding, and pickleball.
